Request an item through Interlibrary Loan (ILL)

 

Students, faculty, and staff can request materials unavailable at Marquette University through Interlibrary Loan (ILL). The service is free to students, faculty, and staff.

You can request items via the Library Search interface. Make sure you are signed in with your Marquette credentials to request items. 

  • When you find an item you want, click the "Request this item" link and submit the form.
  • If you cannot find the item you want, use the "Interlibrary Loan Request" form in the top menu of the Library Search interface.

Delivery of Items:

  • Physical items (e.g., books): these items will be shipped to Raynor Library. You will receive an email notification to retrieve your item(s) at the Library Services Desk.
  • Articles and book chapters: these items will be delivered electronically as PDFs to your Library Account. You will receive an email notification when they are available.
